Frequently asked questions
What is preventive, personalized medicine?
At Cadet MD Health preventive, personalized medicine is an approach to healthcare that focuses on preventing disease before it occurs and tailoring treatments to the individual. Instead of waiting for a person to get sick, this approach emphasizes early detection and taking steps to avoid illnesses. This is in contrast to traditional medical practices where the approach is usually reactive. Led by Dr. Cadet, an experienced physician, you can feel peace of mind knowing you have an expert with a full picture of your health.
How does your membership work and what’s included?
Joining Cadet MD Health as a member is a subscription-based service. Our fees include a comprehensive annual assessment, routine visits, personalized wellness plans. By joining the practice, you have access to our doctor for your primary care needs. We offer a number of payment methods. Because we accept a limited number of patients to our panels, we encourage all prospective clients to sign up for a no-cost meet and greet with Dr. Cadet to learn more.
Please give our office a call at 978-233-9469 or book a time to learn more about our pricing and membership options.
Who can I speak with before signing up?
Dr. Cadet would love to discuss your personal health goals and concerns to help determine if Cadet MD Health is a good fit for you. Please give our office a call at 978-233-9469.
What might a Wellness plan entail?
With Cadet MD Health, your plan is developed by an expert physician who has a full picture of your health. We always aim to optimize health with lifestyle interventions first. This may include a personalized diet plan, tailored exercise regime, supplementation strategy, sleep tracking, and/or additional therapies. If necessary, we will turn to pharmaceuticals or additional treatment recommendations, depending on your needs.
Will my insurance be billed for my office visit?
Our practice is membership-based, offering a higher level of personalized, attentive care designed around your lifestyle and long-term wellness goals. Your membership gives you exclusive access to a more thoughtful, unhurried healthcare experience. Insurance is used for acute needs such as illnesses, injuries, in-office procedures, prescriptions, and specialist referrals—so you get the best of both worlds: elevated care and traditional coverage when you need it.
Is Dr. Cadet on staff at any hospitals?
Dr. Cadet is not currently affiliated with any hospitals. However, Dr. Cadet can refer you to any hospital system or the specialists of your choice.
Can an HSA, FSA or HRA card be used for membership payments to Cadet MD Health?
Yes, HSA, FSA or HRA may be used towards membership or consultation payments, but it is important to note that we always recommend that our patients reach out to your plan coordinators directly, as guidelines vary.
Do you accept patients of all ages?
At this time, we are only able to provide services to patients that are 18+.
Is there a minimum commitment for the program?
Achieving optimal health requires commitment. Our membership programs are offered on an annual basis. We find that it takes a minimum average of 6 full months to see initial, measurable results and a year to see sustained progress. This accounts for the time it takes to complete your testing and bloodwork, review results, meet with your provider, implement interventions, and allow time for impact to occur. Our team is fully committed to supporting you throughout your health journey and, in becoming a Cadet MD Health patient, ask that you commit to yourself to reap the full benefits of our care.
What is your cancellation policy?
Our programs are offered on annual plans at this time. If you wish to cancel after the initial 3-month commitment period, you can do so by emailing us.
What if I have an emergency?
If you have a life-threatening emergency, call 911. After you hang up, please contact us. We will assist in the coordination of your emergency care thereafter. Contact Dr. Cadet before going to an urgent care facility at any time of the day or night.
What do I do if I become ill while traveling or away on an extended vacation?
What if I need to see a specialist or a surgeon?
We know there are times when you may need to see a doctor outside of our practice. Cadet MD Health is available to help you decide which specialists to see and to coordinate consultations so we can ensure your continuity of care.
